This very fine and detailed Victorian bar brooch features a criss-cross pattern within the surface of the Whitby Jet and it contains a pretty white seed pearl set into the centre. The brooch also contains the original metal pin on the reverse. The intricate designs of the town's skillful artisans remain as stunning today as they were nearly 150 years earlier and we are delighted to present a truly unique collection of antique Whitby Jet pieces - from bracelets, brooches and earrings to pendants, lockets and beads - each one to be admired and worn with pride and perhaps passed on to future generations.
